Since incorporation, the Company is aggressively working on different Government projects like Aadhaar, NPR 54 (Digitization), NPR 40 (Biometric), LRC Digitization & LRC Scanning, CCTNS, SECC, etc in many states of India.

History & Milestones

Legally VP was incorporated in Oct, 2011 but the        idea of the company was in mind of Mr. Pawan Kapoor from 2001, with the vision & mission to build an organization in the field of Information Technology & outsourcing and become a benchmark for quality management & creativity.

Mr Pawan Kapoor, took his first step towards the idea with Election Commissions EPIC Project (Voter ID Card), and later on he become the only name in Bareilly (UP) & its surrounding for all the Election Commissions Projects/Tenders like EPIC Card, Printing & Scanning of Electoral List & Digitization of Election data.

Later on in 2004, Mr Pawan Kapoor shared his idea with Mr Vinay Kapoor and they jointly started a Printing Press in Bareilly (UP).

After that they entered in many other sectors like, Advertisement, Printing of Stationary in various Govt. departments.

They also completed lots of Data Processing Projects like Mahamaya Yojna (A project of U.P. Govt.), Scholarship data feeding (A Project of Samaj Kalyan Department), etc.

In 2010, Mr Pawan Kapoor, meet Mr. Sharad Upadhyay, a renowned name in the field of Education and Data Processing in North India, since 2005. Later on Mr. Pawan Kapoor & Mr Sharad Upadhyay work in a joint venture for lots of Data Processing projects.

In 2011, Mr. Pawan Kapoor, Mr. Vinay Kapoor & Mr Sharad Upadhyay, came together and give a name to idea i.e. VP SOFTWARES Pvt. Ltd.

VP has started its journey of success as a Man Power Provider for Govt of India’s highly striving project Aadhaar in Bareilly & surrounding districts.

Later on in Jan 2012, VP was awarded by the Govt. of India’s large scale Project NPR Digitization of Nanital (UK). As the year came to an end, VP became a Multi-State Company from a local city level Company.

From starting of 2013, VP was awarded by lots of projects, which are, CCTNS, LRC-Digitization, LRC-Scanning, NPR-Digitization, NPR-Biometric. All these projects are still in process.

Current Status of VP

Today, VP is a well known pioneer for leaders in the e-governance domain, where we have brought together the requisite hardware, software, networking, data-center and on ground activation required for successful launch and management of e-governance initiatives of Government of India. We have the experience, skill, potential and capacity to handle large scale, nationwide implementation of e-governance initiatives and a variety of business to consumer services (B2C).
