Rajasthan Oriental Research Institute Works- • To Conduct Exhaustive Survey Of The Manuscripts In Sanskrit, Prakrit, Aprabhamsha, Rajasthani And Also In Other Languages Representing The Cultural Inheritance• Collection And Preservation Of Manuscripts By Way Of Applying Modern Scientific Methods• To Edit And Publish The Unknown And Important Manuscripts With The Help Of Scholars And Eminent Academicians • To Establish The Reference Library In The Institute And Enrich It By Way Of Donation And Purchase • To Provide Source-Material In The Form Of Manuscripts, Books And Journals To The Scholars• To Collect And Publish Folk And Devotional Literature Institute In Collecting Manuscripts From Various Sources, Government Of Rajasthan Supported The Work By Issuing A Specific Order To Acquire Manuscripts And Miniature Paintings From State Museums & Libraries. As A Result The Institute Acquired Manuscript-Collections From The State Libraries Of Alwar, Tonk, Udaipur And Kota In 1962. Similarly By Donations The Institute Acquired A Large Number Of Manuscripts At Bikaner And Chittorgarh.
